I’m in Virginia and this last refill was the first time I’ve had an issue in a long time. I take adderall and it seemed like all the pharmacies ran out at the same time. I was out for about a week and the struggle was real. I had to be hyper focused on every little thing I was thinking or doing to make sure that I wasn’t meandering way off track. There was a lot of talking to myself... “What are you doing?” “Is that why you came in here?” “You’re supposed to be ordering tampons, not bunny themed stationary.” You get the picture 😅
I'm in England and this is the first month I've managed to get hold of my modified release methylphenidate without issue since I started taking it 6 months ago. Trying to manage meds is yet another drain on the executive functions and emotional regulation that we can't really afford, especially when we've run out!😣 Apparently the issue is even worse in Ireland. Do you have any insight into what's behind it? I'm tempted to Google it but I've been down a FB rabbit-hole for the past hour after someone sent me a link and I really must get dressed! 😅
Googled it- Good old supply chain issues. Looks like my current preparation is stable, although this is my first week on it! The one I was stable on is unavailable until Feb, and the one I've been on for the last 2 months (Concerta) is last resort for NHS because it's the most expensive.

This popped up today. It has some good info in it about the shortage, including explanations for why there’s a lack of information and clarity.

I'm not quite sure about what the cause is overseas. I don't know if they are related. If I find out anything, I will report back!!
