Your weekly ADHD tips, tricks, resources, and info
This week, we’re tackling MIDLIFE! It’s time. We need to talk about this. Why are we not talking about this? Where is the midlife version or Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret (Menopause?)? Listen, midlife is hard and weird. It’s harder and weirder with ADHD. I have some things to help.
THIS. We’ve talked about how late diagnosis throws our world on its end. It turns midlife into years of anger, panic, loss, and frustration.
Are you age 35-60 and feel… “meh.” Like, you’re just…not happy? But you have no idea why?
Are you looking at the last two decades and asking yourself, “What the hell happened? Where did it go?”
This FREE tool can help. It’s based on a psychological well-being assessment that is scientifically proven to provide good results. It will tell you what is “off” in your world.
I put it in a format to make it easy to do and, when you’re done, I’ve created a solid overview to explain your results. Get answers to what is driving you crazy.
It’s no secret (most of y’all are late-in-life ADHDers) that there is a good chance we were overlooked as kids even though we showed all the signs. This is especially true for women.
Consider these facts:
One 2019 study estimates an adult ADHD prevalence of 0.96 percent – doubling from 0.43 percent a decade prior.
ADHD diagnoses among adults are growing four times faster than are ADHD diagnoses among children in the United States

I have been DEVOURING books about aging and midlife for months now. And you know I love to recommend some awesome reads to you. Not a big reader? Stay tuned for next week and the recommendation I have for you. It’s a good tip!
If you’re looking for a good read or listen, I cannot recommend these enough! They are helpful and insightful, and some are just entertaining! Sorry, dudes, these are a bit women-centric. If you have a good resource though, please share it in the comments so I can check it out and recommend it later!
I did a thing! A few months ago, I was a guest on Katy Weber’s Women & ADHD podcast. When I was diagnosed last year, I went camping and sat and consumed about three days’ worth of episodes and cried. So, it’s very full circle to be on the podcast as such an honor!
