Dopamine Deficiency, Getting Better Sleep, and New Music
HUGE NEWSLETTER! Your weekly playlist and how to hack your dopamine and sleep habits.
Welcome back! Thanks for being here! I love bringing you new resources and help each week! If you want to see specific info here, be sure to let me know!
It’s no secret that ADHDers are a dopamine-seeking bunch. Want to know why? Yeah, I did too. So I did some digging and found some great articles for us!
Better Help - The Link Between Dopamine And ADHD
ADDitude Mag - Never Enough? Why ADHD Brains Crave Stimulation
I love a good checklist, so I created a really cool downloadable tool to help you take inventory of your dopamine sources so that when you feel low, you can tap into what you already have instead of seeking new dopamine. It comes will a full sheet of instructions on how to use it to maximize results! You can click the picture below!
ADHDers are more susceptible to sleep issues, and that actually makes our symptoms worse!
I’m starting a three-week sleep challenge on Sunday, February 19th designed to help you build better sleep habits, establish routines, increase your self-discipline, and start feeling better each morning!
Why three weeks? Because that is how long it takes you to do something before it starts to sink in and become a routine. I’ve made this easy to do, so you stick with it.
Your sleep tracker is fillable, printable, and easy to load onto tablets.
I’ll be going LIVE on TikTok on Sunday, February 19th to kick it off, and we’re doing weekly check-ins every Sunday! Want even more support and accountability? Join the online community to connect with others and get more help directly from me!
Because we’re going to be focusing on getting better sleep (right?), I found this awesome playlist that is super chill and really long, it’s great if you want to plug something into your Bluetooth headband (which I absolutely love and highly recommend) because it will rock you asleep and you can play it all night long. It’s a very, very gentle bilateral effect, so it may work even for those that are not huge fans.
This also works great if you want to do a little meditation before bed, so give it a listen. If you are looking for a playlist for a certain activity, let me know, and I can do some digging!
I really want to work to ensure that ADHDers have a safe place where they can get support, make friends, and learn. As a paid member of Late to My Own Party, you get all kinds of fun things to help you navigate life with ADHD and to be part of a supportive, safe community of like-minded (literally, our brains work the same way) people. Upgrading also helps support this content and allows me to do work to help us all feel more seen and understood.
Also, YOU GET 10% OFF EVERY DAMN THING! Downloadables? Yes. Workshops? Yes. Sticker? Fuck yes!
WORKSHOP FEBRUARY 18th! I am going to be doing an amazing online workshop next weekend! So many of you commented on a recent video about what I was doing to kick imposter syndrome to the curb by embracing an abundance mindset. It doesn’t have to be scary, and I am going to lead you through it!
During this 1-hour online workshop, our goals will be to:
Understand the difference between an abundance mindset (active) and manifesting (passive)
Recognize negative vs. positive thinking and behaviors
Learn strategies to kick imposter syndrome to the curb
Explore how to create more opportunities in our lives
Figure out ways to know which opportunities to pursue and or not
Know how to monitor and adjust
Coaching is up and running, and you can schedule right on the website! No matter what you need help with (organization? relationships? communication? work?) I want to help you make big and lasting changes! Sign up for a free consult!
Know an ADHDer that would LOVE this info! Feel free to share it!
